Provider: 11PlusPrep.co.uk / Bright Sparks Education(“we”, “us”, “our”)
Parent/Guardian: the person entering into this agreement (“you”)
Student: the child enrolled on the course
- Purpose and Scope
1.1. These terms set out the basis on which we provide tuition (the “Course”), delivered in person and/or online.
1.2. By booking, you agree to these terms for the duration of the Course.
- Enrolment & Booking
2.1. Places are offered subject to availability and suitability.
2.2. A place is confirmed only once we receive the required enrolment details and payment (deposit/first instalment as applicable).
2.3. We may request an initial assessment to ensure the Course is appropriate for the student.
- Fees, Payments & Invoicing
3.1. Fees are stated on the Course page and/or invoice. Fees may be payable termly or by instalments as specified at booking.
3.2. Payment methods: bank transfer, debit/credit card, or other methods we state in writing
3.3. Fees must be paid by the due date. Late or missed payments may result in suspension or cancellation of a place (no entitlement to catch-up or refund for missed sessions).
3.4. Price changes: We may review fees periodically. Any change will apply from the next term/booking period and will be communicated in advance.
- Cooling-Off & Cancellations (Parent/Guardian)
4.1. Cooling-off: For online/phone bookings, you have 14 days from confirmation to cancel for a full refund provided the Course has not begun and no materials/services have been supplied.
4.2. If you cancel after the Course has started (or we have provided substantial pre-course materials/services), we may deduct a fair proportion for sessions/materials delivered and any non-recoverable costs.
4.3. Missed sessions / holidays / illness: Non-attendance does not entitle you to a refund or reschedule unless we expressly offer this in writing.
4.4. Two-week notice for rolling weekly tuition. For ongoing weekly classes (i.e., not a fixed-length camp or term package), you may withdraw the student by giving a minimum of 2 weeks’ (14 days) written notice (see 4.5 for how to give notice).
a) Sessions during the notice period remain chargeable whether or not attended.
b) Any fees paid beyond the notice period will be refunded pro-rata .
c) If you pay by instalments, any shortfall covering the notice period becomes due on withdrawal.
4.5. How to give notice. Notice must be emailed to [email protected] from the booking email address. Notice is deemed received on the timestamp of our email server. Messages via WhatsApp/SMS/verbal are not accepted for formal notice. We will acknowledge in writing within 3 working days.
- Cancellations, Postponements & Changes (Provider)
5.1. We may occasionally need to reschedule, relocate, or move sessions online (e.g., tutor illness, venue issues, safety). We will give as much notice as reasonably possible.
5.2. If we cancel a session and cannot offer a reasonable alternative, we will issue a pro-rata refund for that session.
5.3. Right to cancel at our discretion: We reserve the right to cancel a student’s place at any time and for any reason. Where we exercise this right without fault by the parent/student, we will issue a full refund of any prepaid, undelivered sessions.
5.4. Misconduct clause : Where cancellation is due to breach of this agreement (e.g., abusive behaviour, safeguarding concern, persistent non-payment), we may withdraw the place without refund for remaining sessions.
- Code of Conduct & Respect for Staff
6.1. We are committed to a safe, respectful environment for students and staff.
6.2. Zero tolerance for abuse: Any rudeness, aggression, intimidation, or inappropriate behaviour towards teachers, tutors or staff (in person, by phone, email, messaging or social media) is unacceptable.
6.3. If such behaviour occurs, we may immediately withdraw the student’s place with no refund for remaining sessions.
6.4. We expect punctuality, preparedness, and constructive communication from students and parents/guardians.
- Attendance, Punctuality & Participation
7.1. Students should arrive/log in on time with necessary materials.
7.2. Persistent lateness or poor attendance may affect progress; no refund/credit is due for late arrival or early departure.
7.3. We may set reasonable behaviour, participation and homework expectations as part of the Course.
- Homework & Materials
8.1. Homework supports progress and may be required to remain on track.
8.2. We may provide printed or digital materials for the student’s personal use only (see section 13 – Intellectual Property).
8.3. You are responsible for ensuring the student brings required equipment (stationery, calculator, etc.).

9.1. We operate in line with UK safeguarding guidance.
9.2. We may share relevant information with schools, local authorities or other agencies where we have safeguarding concerns or a legal obligation.

- Health, Medical & Special Educational Needs (SEN)
10.1. You must inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, learning needs or access requirements before the Course starts (and promptly when changes arise).
10.2. We will make reasonable adjustments where practicable. If a student’s needs exceed what we can reasonably provide, we may recommend alternative provision.
10.3. Medication remains the responsibility of the parent/guardian unless special arrangements are agreed in writing.
- Online Safety & Recording
11.1. For online sessions, links must not be shared. A responsible adult should be nearby at home.
11.2. Students and parents must not record or screenshot sessions without our prior written consent.
11.3. We may record online lessons for safeguarding, quality and training. Recordings are stored securely and not shared publicly.

- Complaints
17.1. Please raise concerns promptly with the tutor or by emailing.
17.2. We will acknowledge and aim to resolve complaints fairly and quickly. Escalation details are available on request.
- Force Majeure
18.1. We are not liable for delays/non-performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather, power/network failure, public health restrictions, strikes, emergencies).
18.2. We will seek reasonable alternatives (e.g., rescheduling or moving sessions online).
- Liability
